First I will start with What is Horticulture?
Horticulture is the art of garden cultivation and management. It is planting seeds and spreading manure, digging out rocks and watering the plants. It is hard work but very rewarding. It is whatever you can dream of.
So for are first lesson in horticulture we stocked up on shovels and rakes and began to prepare the ground for planting seeds. we put in a lot of hard work raking and shovelling the soil to make it suitable for planting. The sun was shining and everyone was in a good mood so we made good progress!
Once the soil was ready for planting we began to lay down the seeds. We shovelled holes and placed the seeds carefully! Now hopefully next time they will have grown!
